Job Description UP Health System - Marquette
Performs a wide variety of patient care activities asdirected. Conducts DiagnosticEvaluations to assess and assign patients to appropriate levels of care andconducts individual, family, and group therapies as needed and assigned withresponsibility to maintain high utilization of time in billable hours. Maintains communication with referral sourcesand other involved human services providers as related to ongoing treatment. Participates in Utilization Review andPerformance Improvement activities as assigned.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education:
Master'sDegree in Social Work ?OR- Master's Degree in Clinical
Psychology orCounseling
Preferred Education:
Master'sDegree in Social Work or Clinical Psychology
Minimum Experience:
2 years full-time post-Master's relevantsupervised experience in mental healththerapist position in a behavioral health setting ?OR- 2 years full-timerelevant post-Master's experience as an addiction counselor in a behavioralhealth setting
Preferred Experience:
Five years full-time relevantsupervised therapy experience including expertise in mental health, chemicaldependency and family counseling in a behavioral health setting
Required Certification:
Must have Basic LifeSupport-Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
certificationor be able to gain this certification within time frame
determinedby supervisor/Director
Required Licensure
State of Michigan Licensed Master's SocialWorker (LMSW) ?OR- State of Michigan Limited License Psychologist (LLP) ?OR-State of Michigan Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Mustbecome a Certified Addiction Counselor ?OR- Certified Advanced AddictionCounselor within designated timeframe if need determined by supervisor/Director
Preferred Registration:
ACSW, Certified AddictionCounselor II, Certified Advanced Addiction Counselor or Permanent LimitedLicensed Psychologist
Other Skills:
Excellenthuman relations and oral/written communications skills

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
